Arrive Early for the Electric Vehicle Showcase!

Taking place outside from 7:30-8:30 AM

Are you an electric vehicle driver?  Drive your EV to the Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit and add it to our EV Showcase!  Drive past the Sharonville Convention Center's main entrance, bear right and look for the Electric Vehicle Association of Ohio's blue "Talk with an EV Owner" tent. The Electric Vehicle Association of Ohio (EVA-OH) will be on site to answer questions about EVs and EV adoption—both during the EV Showcase and inside as one of this year’s exhibitors.

Attended showcase hours are 7:30am - 8:30am, but you can leave your car all day.  Let us know you are joining our EV Showcase by emailing Rap at rap.hankins@driveelectricdayton.com or calling/texting him 937-239-7124.  Hope to see you there!

Need a break from the conference hustle?

Drop in all day for relaxation, journaling, creative arts, and nature soundscapes

Off the main hallway outside the Exhibit Hall

Step into The Grounding Space -- a sanctuary that brings this year’s conference theme to life. Surround yourself with soothing nature soundscapes and enjoy a moment of calm in the day. You may also tap into your vision for adaptation and thriving into the future through guided journaling prompts and a community art project.

Presented by Perspective Guides, this respite space is a collective effort to create a restorative experience. Come explore, contribute, and connect.

Nature Beyond the Norm

Nature Beyond the Norm is an immersive, hands-on workshop that invites participants to rethink what they believe about nature, identity, and the stories we tell about the living world. In this dynamic, four-station experience, you’ll move, create, question, and connect as you explore the rich diversity of life around us. Contribute to a collaborative mosaic inspired by the theme Adapt Today, Thrive Tomorrow, celebrating resilience and the many ways species respond to change.

Meet a live bird of prey from RAPTOR Inc. and dive into the station Who Is This Owl Really?, where an identity deconstruction activity challenges the assumptions we often project onto animals. Design and create your own button to take home while learning about species that express queerness in nature, expanding your understanding of the complexity already present in the wild. Finally, take part in a community-building matching game that reveals how heteronormative bias has shaped scientific research and how we can see nature more clearly when we question those norms.

Fiber Forum

The United States generates more than 17 million tons of textile waste every year, and 85% of it ends up in landfills. Every stage of a textile’s life offers an opportunity to change that outcome. Understanding raw materials and manufacturing processes empowers you to make informed choices. Supporting sustainable makers protects our environment. Caring for your garments properly extends their life and saves you money. Reimagining and reinventing old items adds a one‑of‑a‑kind personality to your wardrobe. And knowing your local options for donation and recycling ensures textiles have the best possible chance at a next life.

Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse HubFinal Strike CollaborativeBaraza Impact Design Studio, and a growing network of local leaders, makers, and organizations are working together to eliminate textile waste in Cincinnati. Insights from our 2025 Fiber Forum are already shaping new initiatives—and we’re just getting started.

Stop by our exhibit to explore our efforts, pick up handmade patches and sewing kits, try machine stitching, and contribute your own inspirational message to our collaborative textile art piece.
