Each year, the Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit brings together hundreds of passionate business, nonprofit, government and community leaders to share inspiring forward-thinking and solution-oriented ideas that propel us toward a healthier, more resilient, sustainable and equitable future.
We're thrilled to announce that in 2022 the Summit will return to Xavier University's Cintas Center as an in-person / hybrid event on Thursday, June 16th!

Limited in-person tickets will be available. Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test will be required, and masks must be worn in the building when not actively eating or drinking (updates may be made to COVID safety protocols as the event nears). Speak at the Summit
We invite submissions of proposals for discussion panels, interactive workshops and short talks that explore this year’s theme and the topics listed above. We will only be considering complete proposals. The call for speakers is now open and will close January 31. Learn more and submit your proposal here.

Nominate a Sustainability Leader for Our Awards
We welcome nominations for awards recognizing individuals, organizations, businesses and communities that have made outstanding strides in the areas of Impact, Innovation and Leadership. Award winners will be honored at the Summit. Nominations are now open and will close February 28, 2022. Learn more and submit your nomination here.

Show Your Art at the Summit
This year we are incorporating creative arts into the event. Do you have a poem, performance or work of visual art that aligns with our 2022 theme and will inspire attendees? Call for entry will open January 1 and close March 31. Stay tuned for more details.

Host a Field Trip or Community Activity the Day After the Summit
Following Thursday’s conference, a variety of in-person field trips and community activities will take place on Friday, June 17th. Do you want to host a hike, bike ride, paddle, tour, tree planting, neighborhood cleanup, or other activity? Applications are now open and will close January 31. Submit your proposal here.
