Greenacres Foundation

The Greenacres Foundation was founded by Louis and Louise Nippert as their greatest gift to the community. The Foundation provides education experiences for area school children in the areas of environment, sustainable agriculture, cultural arts and equine for free. Each experience is customized to the needs of the classroom teacher and concepts on the state standards tests. In 2015, over 25,000 school children participated in customized programs. Greenacres operates a sustainable agriculture farm producing grass fed beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey and vegetables that are available at the Greenacres Farm Store. Research into agriculture methods is conducted on the farm to promote sustainable agriculture techniques and healthy food choices. Located in the middle of Greenacres’ 600 acres, The Greenacres Arts Center is available for rental for private events and charity fund raisers. The Greenacres Foundation is the steward of the Louis Dieterle Nippert Musical Arts Fund that distributes $5 million each year to performing arts organizations.
